Partai Keadilan Sejahtera (PKS) memandang apa yang dilakukan mantan Wakil Ketua Dewan Syariah PKS Yusuf Supendi sebagai hal yang biasa-biasa saja."Adalah hak setiap warga negara untuk melaporkan apa yang secara subyektif dianggapnya salah. Aparat penegak hukum tentu akan memprosesnya secara profesional dan obyektif," ujar Ketua Fraksi PKS DPR RI Mustafa Kamal di Jakarta, menanggapi laporan Yusuf ke Komisi Pemberantasan Korupsi (KPK).
Mustafa berpendapat langkah yang diambil oleh Yusuf salah alamat. Karena, menurut dia, KPK hanya menangani kasus-kasus yang berhubungan dengan penyimpangan uang negara atau terkait dengan pejabat negara. Sementara para pimpinan PKS yang dilaporkan itu tidak mempunyai kasus menggelapkan atau mengkorupsi uang negara.
Pandangan Yusuf tersebut, menurut Mustafa, besar kemungkinan dipengaruhi oleh kekecewaannya terhadap keputusan Badan Penegak Disiplin Organisasi (BPDO) PKS yang menjatuhkan vonis pemecatan terhadap dirinya. Keputusan tersebut dijatuhkan karena yang bersangkutan dinilai bertindak indispliner.
"Beliau mungkin merasa sebagai pendiri partai dan masuk dalam jajaran pimpinan tertinggi partai. Kita tentu tetap menghargai jasa-jasa beliau, terutama kiprahnya di Dewan Syariah Pusat. Tetapi demi masa depan, disiplin partai harus ditegakkan tanpa pandang bulu. Risiko dari sikap tegas ini kita akan kelola dengan sebaik-baiknya" katanya.
